Fun at the fair.

This year I had 26 enteries at the linn county fair. 17 photography, 7 jewelry and 2 scrapbook pages. 12 of these placed. What pleased me to no end was the first place win in the human interest category which also took the special award for most representative of the fair theme, and the theme of this years fair was "theres magic at the fair." My daughter is the most magical thing in my life and it is no wonder that this image won first place and the special award. Just look at the picture and you will see why she means so much to me.

Hilarity of Cats

My family has been blessed to be fostering a litter of 7 baby kittens. It is like having another child around as they get into everything and they dont listen! Plus 1am feedings......you get the idea. Anything that is my daughters is theres and Morgan feels that whatever is theirs is hers....this includes their food and poo. Gross I know. But as I said what is hers is theres as the picture will attest to. We call this potty training "kitty style." and it is quite humerous.

Strawberry Shortcake

I have to say I have the cutest red head in the whole world. Daddy was harassing her last night to wear her pink cowgirl hat so we could take pictures. I managed to get a few then realized little fingers had smudged up the lense of my camera so after cleaning that up, I got better ones. She so cracks me up! A friend said she looks like strawberry shortcake in her hat.

Time Flys!

It has been such a long time since I have written anything. Makes you wonder where the world has been. My daughter is almost 16 months old. One of her most faveriote things is Mud. Good old fashioned mud.

 If there is water around, there must be dirt too. She searches it out like a coon dog on the hunt. Its amazing where and how she will get dirty. I am thinking of taking stock in Spray N' Wash and Tide Stain release. Two very friendly items that live in the laundry cubbord. Because of those two things Morgan only has a few pieces of clothing that are stained. And most of those dont fit anymore! My daughter is my pride and joy, even if she is reaching up with the grubbiest hands I have ever seen. you just scoop her up, mud and all and give her kisses and hugs!
